TAJ Foods is a family-run business that has established a strong reputation as a leader in the world foods market, importing and distributing products from a wide range of countries.

Over the past decade, the company has continued to grow and needed significantly more room to store its products at both its Barking and Leicester sites.

“We first contacted Dawsongroup around nine years ago”, began Anil Solanki, Founding Director. “The container storage we used to rely on was no longer enough to store the volume of products we had waiting for distribution.”

Over the time Dawsongroup has been working with TAJ Foods they have quickly supplied solutions to the storage issues faced by constructing three 32 pallet cold storage units, followed later by four 22 pallet units and finally one 14 pallet unit.

The consultation with TAJ Foods allowed bespoke features to be added to make stock picking and loading more efficient, such as an additional side door in one of the units.

“The service we receive from Dawsongroup is second-to-none and has made a real difference to the efficiency of our business,” added Anil. “The response time is excellent, with any faults rectified within 24 hours and the engineers are very professional. What they do is exactly as they set it out during the consultation and this has always been the case since we first started working with them.”
