Our Warming Rooms/Heat Chambers enable you to store or test your product at a variety of temperature and relative humidity levels, up to approximately +85°C, often within 1 degree of set point.
‘Reverse-cycle’ refrigeration is used for applications up to around +50C and beyond that we add auxiliary heaters to supplement the on-board equipment. Heated produce can be cooled down again if required, in the same chamber using the refrigeration system, in conventional mode. In high temperature applications where cool down of the product is not required, fan-assisted heating equipment, only, is used and mechanical extract fans can be used to dissipate heat/humidity within the chamber.
Dawsongroup Heat Chambers are, where required, built with oven-like features including heat resistant light fittings and lamps, steel electrical conduit with heatproof wiring and a special ‘Alu-Zinc’ internal wall finish.
The Chambers can serve a variety of sectors, primarily for storing and testing of products such as honey, jam, paint & rubber. They are also regularly used for ageing or ripening fruit and cheese products, amongst others.
