‘Reverse-cycle’ refrigeration is used for applications up to around +50C and beyond that we add auxiliary heaters to supplement the on-board equipment. Heated produce can be cooled down again if required, in the same chamber using the refrigeration system, in conventional mode. In high temperature applications where cool down of the product is not required, fan-assisted heating equipment, only, is used and mechanical extract fans can be used to dissipate heat/humidity within the chamber.
Dawsongroup Heat Chambers are, where required, built with oven-like features including heat resistant light fittings and lamps, steel electrical conduit with heatproof wiring and a special ‘Alu-Zinc’ internal wall finish.
We are experienced in supplying solutions to a number of industries, such as those producing honey, jam, paint, and rubber, or ageing or ripening food products like fruit and cheese.
