Warming Rooms / Hot Boxes


Our Warming Rooms/Heat Chambers enable you to store or test your product at a variety of temperatures and relative humidity levels, up to approximately +85°C, often within 1 degree of set point.

For applications up to +50C, we use ‘reverse-cycle’ refrigeration. However, for higher temperature applications, we supplement the on-board equipment with auxiliary heaters. The refrigeration system can also cool down heated produce in the same chamber in conventional mode. In cases where cooling down the product is not necessary, we use mechanical extract fans to dissipate heat and humidity within the heat chamber.


Dawsongroup Heat Chambers are, where required, built with oven-like features including heat resistant light fittings and lamps, steel electrical conduit with heatproof wiring and a special ‘Alu-Zinc’ internal wall finish.

We are experienced in supplying solutions to a number of industries, such as those producing honey, jam, paint, and rubber, or ageing or ripening food products like fruit and cheese.
